Coach Myron Returns As Head Coach For 2012


The Lightning is proud to announce that Myron Selby will transition to Head Coach the 2012 season. Myron was on the Lightning staff in 2011 and has been elevated to Head Coach going forward.

A native of Delaware, Myron played collegiately at Delaware State University as an offensive tackle. Myron competed in camp with the Cleveland Browns before returning home to Harrisburg to join the Harrisburg Patriots at the minor league football level.

After several years of playing at the minor league level, coach selby began his coaching career with the South Central Yard Dawgs as an offensive line coach and assisstant head coach. In 2010 Myron coached offensive line for the Harrisburg Stampede (Indoor football) of the American Indoor Football Association. Myron has his bachelors in business management and is currently pursuing his degree in sports management. Myron resides in Steelton with his wife Jodi and his youngest son Austin.
