Lancaster Recreation Commission's NFL Youth Flag
Football program will begin Saturday March 14th
at 10am at Wheatland Junior High.
There will be an organizational meeting Thursday
March 12th 6pm at the Rec center
for all coaches. If you would like to volunteer
to coach please attend.

Community Initiative Program
As
part of our 2009 Community Initiative Program the
Lancaster Lightning would like to invite all
players, staff and members of the community to
bring items for our "Support the Troops" drive.
We have several players, friends and family that
are directly affected by the war overseas. "We
want to lend support however we can."
We are collecting general items of comfort,
everyday necessities and gifts for our deployed
troops.
We will be collecting for several more weeks.
Following the collection period, together with
the Home League Ladies of Lancaster, we will
package and ship our items.
Suggested items include toiletries, towels,
razors, cds, books, magazines, gloves, etc.
