New Lightning Indoor Team to Play in IGL

Lancaster Football Group would like to announce the start-up of a new Lancaster Lightning indoor football team that will play in the Indoor Gridiron League (IGL). The IGL is a brand new league, completely powered by the Philadelphia Soul. The team will begin play in April. Games will be played at regional indoor venues including the Soul's practice facility in Vorhees, NJ and the Soul's home facility, Wells Fargo Center.

The vision of the league is to be a developmental league for the Philadelphia Soul. Athletes selected for the Lightning indoor team will receive Soul season passes, promotional opportunities, special access to the Philadelphia Soul staff and current game film, and a private workout for the Philadelphia Soul.

Lancaster Football Group is excited about the opportunity for its athletes and has graciously accepted the invitation to the Indoor Gridiron League. Please stay tuned for details on tryouts.

The IGL, owned by Jakib Media, will function as a recreational and developmental football league with the goal of providing a legitimate opportunity for athletes within the community to pursue their personal dreams of playing professional football.
